Three Coat Trends for Winter 2020

Three Coat Trends for Winter 2020

Ok, it’s been a while, I know. But I’m back and hoping to inspire you over the coming weeks with all things fashion and festive! Autumn/Winter is one of my favourite times to dress for and a huge reason for that is because I absolutely love coats. I usually buy one new coat every Winter, although I could definitely buy A LOT more, but as I only buy one it’s a decision I take very, very carefully. I’m usually scouring the shops for weeks beforehand to make sure I’m making the best decision and through my constant searching, this year I’ve come across some gorgeous coat trends for the 2020 Winter Season.

Why I like to shop the Summer sales for my Autumn/Winter pieces

Yes, I said it, Autumn/Winter! I’ve gone there and there’s no going back. So as we’re creeping further into the second half of the year, I’ve started to think about colder weather trends, mainly because it’s my favourite time of year to dress for and I get so excited at the thought of switching up my wardrobe, layering up and pulling the leather trousers back out! My Favourite Ankle Boots For Spring 2020

My Favourite Ankle Boots For Spring 2020

You might be wondering why I’m talking to you about a new boot trend whilst we are moving into February. However, in the UK, Winter only officially begins very late in December and we always tend to get the coldest snap of weather throughout the first couple of months of the year – sometimes even with the odd flurry of snow arriving in March as well – so, although we all have our Summer holidays insight, this is a great time to jump on a new boot trend to keep those toes warm until you can get your sandals out.

10 “not so Christmassy” Christmas Jumpers

10 “not so Christmassy” Christmas Jumpers

Around this time of year, I love getting a bit more festive with my clothing choices. It’s definitely the time of year that we can all get away with a bit more glitz and glam, so the odd sequin and extra embellishment here and there never goes a miss. Why I’m In Love With Padded Coats This Winter

Why I’m In Love With Padded Coats This Winter

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you will no doubt be aware of how much I LOVE outerwear. Coats and jackets are one of my favourite parts of Winter because I love to layer them with chunky knits and scarves, and I live for the overall cosy vibe you get when bundling yourself up in big, oversized pieces. I also believe that you can absolutely make an outfit by choosing the right coat to pair with it and there are always so many beautiful options about. 10 High Street Trench Coats to shop now…

I recently posted a photograph of myself in an old ASOS trench over on my Instagram and it seems that loads of you guys are similar to me in loving a trench for this time of year. For me, they’re just the perfect transitional jacket to have as they guard you against the elements with an extra layer of clothing, without being too thick or bulky. A classic trench is such a timeless piece to have in your wardrobe and if you pick the right one, it will last you for years to come. Continue reading “10 High Street Trench Coats to shop now…”

A/W Trend Spotlight: The Leather-look

A/W Trend Spotlight: The Leather-look

When scouting the new season trends or even just general outfit inspiration throughout the year, Instagram is, of course, an absolute go-to but I also find myself drawn to Pinterest just as much, especially when looking for street style inspiration which is a big contributing factor in how I choose to dress. The Outerwear Edit

The Outerwear Edit

Something I’m obsessed with when it comes to Winter is outerwear. In all honesty, I’m probably obsessed with jackets and coats all year round, but it’s a bit of a struggle trying to layer up in my favourite aviator when it’s 25 degrees outside. I feel like outerwear can really help to elevate any look and bring an outfit together, or can even help to hide a poor outfit choice when you need to run to the corner shop in your joggers (don’t pretend like you never do that).
