Continue reading “Spring Staples – The Trench”So this year, I feel like the transition from Winter into Spring feels so much bigger than usual. Here in the UK, we are on the road out of a strict lockdown which we’ve been living in since the New Year and the prospect of lighter nights and warmer weather, along with being able to go out and about more is a momentous moment! I’ve been daydreaming about my Spring outfits after spending the last 12 months in loungewear but you may be surprised to know, that loungewear is still going to be a big trend as we move into the new season.
Continue reading “Transition into Spring & Out of Lockdown”As you all probably know by now, I’m a huge fan of filling my wardrobe with lots and lots of basics. I don’t do too much colour or print and I try my best to steer away from anything that stands out too much unless it’s for a special occasion. I like to keep my shapes basic and my colours neutral as I feel that creates quite a timeless, classic look for me and is an easier way for me to re-invent my wardrobe and get the most out of wearing things over again. Hands up who’s looking forward to the bank holiday weekend? I know it’s not going to be the usual bank holiday weekend with girls days out, family Easter lunches and egg hunts in the park but I for one, am so looking forward to four days off work to spend pottering around the house – and the garden if the sunshine decides to stay! Continue reading “Easter Weekend Outfits to Wear At Home”
Although 99% of the time, I’m more of a trousers or shorts type of gal, when it comes to Spring, dresses are some of my favourite things to wear. I love the fact that you can wear them with Winter boots or a structured jacket to bring more of an androgenous vibe to the look and this tiered design fits perfectly with my style.
