A few months ago, we visited Venice on a special trip for my 30th birthday. I only found out where we were going a couple of days before, but I’d been wanting to go to Venice for years so I already had a wish list as long as my arm, of places I was desperate to visit and things I wanted to see.
Burano was up there at the top and I was adamant that we had to take a boat ride over there at some point during our trip.
How is it mid-June already?! I feel like the months are just FLYING by. I have a big birthday this August so I kind of set that as a milestone for the year in January, believing that I had all the time in the world and now it’s only two months away and I don’t know what’s happened to the last five!
As I write this, it’s pouring with rain outside and has basically been torrential for the last two weeks so it doesn’t feel like Summer in the slightest however, given that it is June and we’re in the midst of holiday season, I wanted to do a little swimwear edit for you guys and after a couple of new sustainable swimwear brands dropped into my inbox which I absolutely loved, I decided to share a more environmentally friendly edit with you this year.

All of this rainy UK weather has got me daydreaming about my holidays and with that, I realised I never shared any of our snaps from Mykonos with you guys.
All photographs were taken on a Canon 750d or iPhone 7 plus and I’ve played around with some film filters to get the 35mm effect. As I write this, it’s 2nd January 2018, it’s pouring with rain outside and it’s the dreaded first day back at work for many after the Christmas and new year break. Lucky for me, I booked today off as annual leave just to give myself that extra bit of a break before going back to work tomorrow.
