Although 99% of the time, I’m more of a trousers or shorts type of gal, when it comes to Spring, dresses are some of my favourite things to wear. I love the fact that you can wear them with Winter boots or a structured jacket to bring more of an androgenous vibe to the look and this tiered design fits perfectly with my style. So if you’ve been following my blog for awhile, you may remember my first post about the H&M Conscious Collection around this time last year. Having decided to start being more conscious and sustainable in my shopping habits, I was absolutely amazed at the design, production and innovation I discovered when learning about the range. I love relaxed tailoring but adding a belt to bring you in at the waist adds something a little bit extra to the outfit and can make a casual look, that bit smarter and dressed up if needs be.
You might be wondering why I’m talking to you about a new boot trend whilst we are moving into February. However, in the UK, Winter only officially begins very late in December and we always tend to get the coldest snap of weather throughout the first couple of months of the year – sometimes even with the odd flurry of snow arriving in March as well – so, although we all have our Summer holidays insight, this is a great time to jump on a new boot trend to keep those toes warm until you can get your sandals out.
