Continue reading “Spring Staples – The Trench”So this year, I feel like the transition from Winter into Spring feels so much bigger than usual. Here in the UK, we are on the road out of a strict lockdown which we’ve been living in since the New Year and the prospect of lighter nights and warmer weather, along with being able to go out and about more is a momentous moment! I’ve been daydreaming about my Spring outfits after spending the last 12 months in loungewear but you may be surprised to know, that loungewear is still going to be a big trend as we move into the new season.

I’ve tried to gather as many different types of gifts within various price ranges that I could think of, so that hopefully this caters to a lot, if not all, of the women in your life. I decided not to include fragrance as I find that quite a personal preference and probably not one I would choose on recommendation, but aside from that you’ll find everything from skincare and haircare, to homewares and hobbies.

It somehow makes those long nights more bearable, and really helps me get into the Christmas spirit.

Autumn/Winter is one of my favourite times to dress for and a huge reason for that is because I absolutely love coats. I usually buy one new coat every Winter, although I could definitely buy A LOT more, but as I only buy one it’s a decision I take very, very carefully. I’m usually scouring the shops for weeks beforehand to make sure I’m making the best decision and through my constant searching, this year I’ve come across some gorgeous coat trends for the 2020 Winter Season.

As you guys know, I’m always striving to bring more elements of sustainability into the way I shop and have talked to you before about specific brand campaigns and ranges, that are based on more considered processes and garments; but I think this is probably the first time I’m talking to you about an actual complete brand whose entire ethos is based around sustainable clothing.

I love everything about it, the layering, the introduction of knitwear, being able to wear oversized jackets with bare legs and boots, not to mention that I can re-ignite my love for leather trousers, which I would wear all year round if it was up to me.
Continue reading “Autumn #OOTD 1”Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last month or so, you’ve no doubt seen those H&M knitted vests or gilets that are allllll over the internet. First came the v-neck, then the high neck and now I think I’ve even seen a crop version pop up a couple of days ago. They are the perfect in-between season piece for someone like me who’s pretty much dying to get their knitwear out, but is also still wrestling with some sort of Indian Summer or mini September heatwave.
Continue reading “4 Ways to Style that H&M Knitted Vest”Over the last 2 to 3 years, my shopping habits have begun to really change. Looking back at a few years ago, I can remember a time when I was obsessed with fast fashion and would spend £100 every other week in Primark, coming home with hauls of new outfits, that I would inevitably wear once and then throw to the back of my wardrobe.
This came partly from an obsession with different trends and wanting to always be wearing the latest piece but also from a love of fashion and a desire to be creative with the way I dressed and expressed myself every day. However, over recent years I’ve started to think more consciously about my shopping habits and am (hopefully) making changes for the better.
