Spring Colour Trend: Sage Green – Updated For 2020

You may or may not remember a little trend piece I wrote last January, about my love for one of the new colour trends of the Spring 2019 season – sage green. I’ll leave a link for it here if you fancy a read, but either way, I’m back with an updated 2020 version because sage green is back, bigger than ever for the upcoming months.

I remember browsing through the stores this time last year and seeing a lot of different pieces from blazers and jumpers, to jumpsuits and co-ord suits but it already feels as though there is a lot more to choose from this year, which makes me think it’s going to be an even bigger trend colour than before.

One of the reasons I love this colour so much is because it almost feels like a neutral tone which we all know hold a dear place in my wardrobe and my heart. I have never been 100% into bright, bold colours and similarly, I’m not really into pastels really, but this earthy, green shade seems to fit in so much better with the items I wear most and doesn’t feel too extravagant a colour for me to fit into my everyday style. Anything from lighter, barely-there sage tones to a pistachio shade with a bit of a darker accent works and the variation in colour will help you fit it into your wardrobe much more easily.

Much like my blog post last year, I thought it would be great to collate my favourite items on the high street at the moment to stop you guys having to trawl the internet yourselves. However, if you picked up any sage pieces last Spring season, now is the time to dig them back out of your wardrobe and re-invent them for 2020.

All direct links will be below so you can find and shop the items really easily.
