The perfect Summer dress

Recently, my go-to outfits of the season have been either an easy to wear Summer dress or some sort of shorts and tee combo. In aid of this, I did a little Summer dress haul from Zara a couple of months back and I think I have found the ultimate piece.

This dress is an absolute dream to wear, whilst looking very effortless and classic. It’s a cream coloured linen blend fabric, with a zip up back, adjustable straps and elasticated centre section just above the waist. The fabric is nice and thick so the dress isn’t see-through at all and it HAS POCKETS – which is literally the best feature and I almost never find a dress which has pockets.

I already know I’ll be able to get so much wear out of this throughout the next few months and even into next Summer as well.

One of my favourite things about this dress is its versatility. I’ve worn it here with a pair of cream ASOS espadrilles and a Topshop string bag, which is the perfect look for a weekend picnic or BBQ. Other ways to wear this would be potentially over the top of a plain t-shirt with a pair of flat sandals for a more casual vibe or with a light jacket and trainers for an even more chilled outfit for running errands and nipping to the shops.
