Sharing the love on my three favourite accessories of the moment

Firstly, Happy Valentines Day my loves. I hope you’re all feeling the love this week! I’m feeling particularly loved up in more ways than one, so thought I’d share some of that with you guys and talk you through my three favourite accessories that I’m wearing right now. I’ve also shared some links below so you can treat yourself – it is valentines after all!

The Alice Band
So, of COURSE, the Alice band had to be in my top three favourites.  I picked up a black one from Primark last month and I haven’t taken it off since. It’s a very girly accessory for my usual style as I’m not really into hair accessories, especially headbands, but this is the perfect addition to so many looks. I find it can add that extra touch to a fairly plain outfit choice or I’ve even used it to cover up a couple of bad hair days (haven’t we all?).

There are so many variations and colours out there and I will definitely be picking up a couple more to take me into Spring and then Summer.

The Belt Bag
If you follow me on Instagram, it will be NO surprise that I’m still banging on about the good old belt bag. I’ve been obsessed with them since late Summer last year and I could not be happier that they are back this season. I use mine to cinch in an over-sized jumper or a blazer and have pinned so much inspo on Pinterest, for different ways to wear them throughout the year. Not only is a belt bag super stylish, but they’re also incredibly practical and we all know comfortable, easy to wear fashion is my thing.

I recently bought the below tan, croc style one from Zara. It was a steal at £19.99 and can be worn as a belt bag, a clutch and a cross body bag. Such amazing value for money and the cost per wear is going to be absolutely tiny.

The Gold Necklace
For so long, my only go to piece of jewellery was a watch. I wasn’t interested in necklaces or rings and rarely wore earrings as I like to be quite understated, but recently I’ve found some pieces that still look very classic but add an extra bit of detail to my every day looks.

I love a pendant style necklace with a very thin chain, either single or doubled up and I’ve also really taken to the Céline initial necklace, however with that completely out of my price range for a one-off trend piece, I scouted eBay instead and picked up one similar.
