My Favourite Stradivarius Midi

I’ve been trying my best to stay away from wearing black this Summer and so far I have done pretty well. A lot of the things i’ve bought have been multi-coloured and patterned BUT over the last couple of weeks i’ve seen so many nice pieces, all in black – this Stradivarius dress being one of them.

I bought mine from ASOS but it is available directly from Stradivarius as well and it’s £29.99. It does come in cream too but when given the choice I will almost always go for the black version.

I loved the dress as soon as I saw it online, but I was totally not expecting to love it even more once it arrived. It’s the SOFTEST fabric and it’s thin enough to wear in the warmer weather, without loosing it’s quality. The way the dress hangs is perfect and because it’s cut slightly bigger towards the bottom, it skims your hips and falls beautifully.

It has full button down front with tortoise shell buttons which are a huge hit this summer, so it’s simple but still very on trend.

Wearing this dress has reminded me how much I love wearing black and that black can actually look perfectly fine in Summer, because it’s so sleek and simple – something I much prefer when it comes to my own personal style.

Prepare to see a lot more black on my blog and over on Instagram over the coming weeks because I have a feeling that now i’ve re-found my love for it, it’s going to be back with a vengeance.
