5 High Street Summer Dresses

So its seems like we are well and truly getting into the swing of Summer now that we’ve been treated to a few weeks of sunshine and high temperatures. I’ve definitely had my fair share of countryside walks and BBQs so i’m happy with that!

The one issue I have had, is that I put off going all-in on a Summer wardrobe because of just how dyer the weather was – so it crept up on me all of a sudden and then when I found myself trying to put together outfits for the warmer weather, actually all I had to work with was knitwear and trousers!

Anyway, I’ve been on the hunt for some summer dresses and thought i’d share five of my current favourites with you.

My absolute number one right now is this gorge Topshop piece. Floral and brightly coloured isn’t usually my thing, but I have grown very fond of yellow and mustard this season and the second I tried this dress on, I absolutely fell in love.

It’s a wrap style, but fastens with 3 small buttons rather than the usual tie waist, and the frills along the hem add an even more feminine touch.

The dress is so flattering and is perfect for so many summer occasions – it’s also going to be an addition for my holiday case later in the Summer.
