The theme of this months Birchbox was ‘Beauty Through The Decades’ and around mid January, I received a little email asking me to choose the design of my box from either the 70’s, 80’s or 90’s. Being born in ’89, I obvs went for the 80’s designed box and what a cool little design it is! I love the colours and the pattern, they remind me of those wild printed shirts and dresses that we have all seen photographs of our parents wearing in their younger years. The Workwear Edit #1

Hi lovelies & welcome back. Recently when I was planning some new fashion content for the blog, it dawned on me that I actually spend 80% of my time each week at work. 5 days a week, in an office which granted doesn’t have a ‘dress code’ or uniform as such, but there are business rules to abide by like knee length skirts, no vest tops, no crop tops, no open toe shoes etc. We can wear jeans though which is an absolute winner.

A couple of weeks ago we took to the road and headed to the Cotswolds in order to banish away our January blues. It’s something we’re making a bit of an annual trip – as we did the same mid January last year – and let me tell you, it is always very much welcomed. We had the trip partially as a Christmas present and I honestly love the idea of it – who doesn’t need some time away in the most boring, sober, skint, cold month of the year?!

This time, we stayed in Stow-On-The-Wold in a little hotel called The Old Stocks Inn. Both myself and Dave absolutely loved our time there and didn’t want to come home, so I thought I would share with you 5 reasons why you should most definitely add this to your hotel wish list.
